Are you looking to learn how to make hand painted signs? Maybe you would like to create hand painted wallpaper, wood block prints or screen prints? How about learning how to decorate and restore furniture? Or learn more about Lithography and Typography.

And for those who want like to have discussions with leading sign writers and discuss personal tailored signwriting or typography classes, with the added opportunity to attend lectures and courses on the history of typograph and printing by one of the UK’s foremost authorities on these subjects. If any of the above sounds interesting to you, we have creative workshop classes available! These classes are aimed at artists or those who may be complete beginners who last help a brush at school, as well as those who already have artistic skills, but haven’t picked up their paintbrushes or printing blocks for a while. Our workshops are the perfect opportunity to have fun, create some beautiful pieces and meet other like minded individuals within the creative scene.

Additional Options

We are able to offer accommodation near to the workshop, alongside transport from the hotel to our studio workshop for an additional cost. This accommodation is ideal for creatives who are traveling from afar!

For those of you who are looking to have a luxurious experience during your stay, we have fantastic options available for you at [contact us to arrange accommodation]. Imagine spending the day creating art and then winding down in the evening with a relaxing spa treatment and full use of hotel facilities (sauna, gym, pool, country walks etc) – what a blissful way to end the day!

Internships & Long-term Workshops

For those who are keen to learn the trade and dive deeper into the skill sets needed to create a flourishing business within signwriting and the decorative art industry, we have a few different options available.

• 3 to 6 month period long-term workshops
• 6 to 12 month internships

These long-term workshops and internships will be held at our Oxfordshire studio, where we will explore the elements of signwriting, basic carpentry, hand drawn graphic design work and gold leaf gilding.

All internships and long-term workshops are available from 21st February 2022. Accommodation can be provided for interns, with full or part time work available upon completion of internship for particularly outstanding applicants.
